Greater New Bedford Area Catholic Schools

Nurturing the Mind and Soul

Our Mission

The Greater New Bedford Area Catholic Schools are comprised of administrators, teachers, staff, parents, and clergy joined in partnership to educate the children of the Diocese of Fall River in Catholic faith and values. Our schools have a demanding educational culture that helps students from across the academic spectrum reach their God-given potential. With an emphasis on service and respect for the dignity of every person, we prepare students to meet the challenges of today’s diverse world and become meaningful contributors to society.

Our five elementary schools (Pre K – 8th Grade) and one high school (9-12) serve over 1700 students from the Greater New Bedford Area. We invite you to find your local school below and call the school to set up a time to visit.

Our students grow and prosper spiritually, academically, emotionally and socially.

We teach respect for the dignity of every person solely because they are a child of God, not because of anything they do, have or profess. By infusing religion throughout the curriculum, we help our students become well-rounded individuals who contribute to society in a variety of ways.

In addition to core classes, our schools offer a wide range of subjects, including technology, visual and performing arts, religion and more. We are also implementing a variety of instructional models, including blended and personalized learning, in response to the diversity of learning styles among our students.
